Chakra Meditation
As before seat yourself comfortably, close your eyes and take several deep breaths, bringing in the white light to fill and surround you. After you have gotten yourself properly relaxed and ready, choose one of your 7 major chakras as the subject of the meditation. Now focus your attention on that chakra. Each chakra plays an important role in your being and is "related" to a different "aspect". I really don't want to get into too much detail about this at this point as this is really a large enough subject to be the subject of another entire workshop or class. Let it suffice at this time to say that the chakras should all be spinning, and all about the same speed of rotation. If during your meditation, you should notice that one of the chakras seems "sluggish", or lopsided, this would be a very good indication of some problem area in your life.
I suggest that you concentrate on only one chakra for each meditation, and you may choose a different one for each meditation or concentrate on one if you feel the need to work on some aspect of your life.
As you concentrate on the chakra, visualize it, feel it. As you do this, pay attention to any thoughts that go through your mind, any feelings or emotions. If you find that meditating on any one of the chakras makes you feel uncomfortable for any reason, this is a very good indication of a problem area in your life.
Incidently, the word “chakra” is Sanskrit and means “wheel.”
Many more of these you can do, sometime I may add more!

The White Inner Light
One last meditation and we are going to call it quits for this lengthy series.
The experience of the clear white light is a mystical vision seen with the mind's eye as vividly as one would see with the physical eyes. We are always seeing light with the third eye in some degree.
Close your eyes and envision a large tree standing alone upon a hill covered with flowers bursting out of lush green grass in the field around. Imagine the scene taking place on a sunny day; the clear crisp air in the high altitude brings forth the images distinctly. Put a cloud in the sky for contrast.
The light you have been seeing, as you have been creating these suggested images, one at a time, with your thoughts inspired by what you have been reading, is the inner light flooding through the external mind. Remove the cloud from the picture - the flowers, the grass, and the tree. Inner light alone would remain. This inner light intensified one thousand times would be called "the clear white light".

This series has barely scratched the surface on the subject of meditation. There are many more ways in which you can meditate, and by now you should know enough to come up with your own meditation techniques that are more suitable to you.
How often should you meditate? That is entirely up to you, but many people find that a daily meditation is very beneficial to them. And how long should a meditation session last? Again, that is entirely up to you. I have heard some people smugly saying that they spent an hour a day in meditation and "looking down their noses" at others that only spent 5 minutes a week at it. But I have also known some that could spend 5 minutes in meditation and completely "recharge their batteries". For them, spending an hour in meditation would simply be wasted time.
I have often led group meditations. During a group meditation, everyone in the group should be using the same technique and there should be a "moderator" leading the group. After the agreed upon time, the moderator should call the members of the group back to the "here and now". It is a normal practice for each member of the group to share what they experienced during the meditation. Often I have found that by doing this, not only can they gain insight into what they did experience, but other members of the group can often help the individual to understand something that may be confusing to them.
Happy meditating.
