HEART: Our heart is the muscular pump of the vascular system. It has 4 chambers: the 2 on the right relate to the lungs; the 2 on the left relate to the rest of the body. Our heart takes deoxygenated blood into the right side, pumps it through the lungs, and returns oxygenated blood to the left side and the rest of the body.
Stored emotional blockages: heartache, heartbreak, grief, loss, fear, sadness, rejection, hurt; holding back out of fear of being alive or fear of dying, blockage of love, imbalance of giving or receiving.
LUNGS: Our lungs are the place where air can be absorbed by our blood and undesirable gasses from the blood can be released to the outside world.
Stored emotional blockages: Grief and loss, anger, fear, lower energy, coughing up pain. Asthma often has an emotional component.
STOMACH: Our stomach takes food which has been chewed and mixed with saliva in the mouth and continues the digestion process, preparing the food for treatment in the small intestines.
Stored emotional blockages: When we swallow our emotions, thoughts, and beliefs, they end up in the stomach and are difficult to digest. This includes rules and ideas from family, peers, teachers, ministers, doctors, and other significant people in our childhood. Ulcers are often anger eating away at one’s gut; butterflies in the stomach are anxiety. Fear of life changes and fear of disapproval often end up here.
SMALL INTESTINE: Our small intestines fills our abdominal cavity and is framed by the large intestine. It receives partially digested food from the stomach and uses secretions from the pancreas and liver/gall bladder to further break down food. It is responsible for the final breakdown of all nutrients, including vitamins. This is also where nutrients are absorbed into the body.
Stored emotional blockages: .
LARGE INTESTINE: Our large intestine absorbs water, vitamins, and minerals, and moves waste products from digestion out of the body.
Stored emotional blockages: Unexpressed or unresolved situations of anger, fear, and guilt.
LIVER: The liver is our largest organ and it has many jobs. It converts carbohydrates into fat and protein. It makes cholesterol, stores vitamins A, D, B12, and iron. It removes toxic substances from the blood, and makes bile for use in the digestive process.
Stored emotional blockages: Anger and fear are stored here over long periods of time.
GALLBLADDER: Our gall bladder lies just under the liver and stores bile that is secreted to the beginning of the small intestine. Bile helps digest fats by making them soluble in water to enzymes can act on them during digestion.
Stored emotional blockages: Resentment (bitter anger).
PANCREAS: Our pancreas excretes enzymes that enter the small intestine and help breakdown protein, fat, and carbohydrate. The pancreas makes insulin. The pancreas is sometimes considered to be a gland and is regulated by hormones.
Stored emotional blockages: Sweetness gone out of life – no spark, spice, sparkle or zest for living. Being too nice/sugary.
SPLEEN: Our spleen is part of the lymphatic system and the immune system. It filters our blood and create cells that fight infection.
Stored emotional blockages: Storage of unfinished business with past
relationships. Problems here could relate to the death of a person, job, or lifestyle which have created strings with the past..
KIDNEYS: Our kidneys maintain the electrical, chemical and concentration balances and integrity of the water in our body – which is 90% of the physical body’s substance. They maintain water volume, process blood plasma, and maintain ph balance (acid/base).
Stored emotional blockages of Kidneys & Adrenal Glands: Shock/trauma center of the body. Over activity of sympathetic nervous system, adrenal rush; autoimmune system. Always treat for shock, trauma, illness, surgery, emotional imbalances, allergies, stress of any kind, low energy, and fear response.
ENDOCRINE GLANDS
PINEAL: This gland secretes hormones that cause other glands to create estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and regulates the thyroid, bone, skin, adrenals, milk production in mothers, and water conservation in the body. The Pineal gland is related to the 3rd Eye (6th Chakra). It is a transducer of spiritual light/information coming into the body through the Crown to vibrational levels that the body can withstand. It is significant in receiving and interpreting information we receive from Source.
PITUITARY: This gland produces hormones which control a variety of functions. Human Growth Hormone, or HGH, is one of the most significant, as it seems not only to control the growth of the body, but the decline of it is related to symptoms associated with the aging process.
THYROID: This gland fuels and maintains basal metabolism.
THYMUS: The master gland of our immune system, as well as part of the lymphatic system, the Thymus produces "T" lymphocytes that attack the protein of certain tumor cells. It atrophies as we age.
ADRENALS: The adrenals are responsible for the "fight or flight" response that can result in dilated pupils, increased heart rate, nervous activity and rapid breathing. They also secrete a hormone that breaks down starch and fatty acids and stimulate our metabolism.
OVARIES, TESTES: These are the reproductive glands. The ovaries produce female germ cells (eggs) an the female hormones, estrogen and progesterone. The Testes develop sperm and product the male hormone testosterone.
OTHER BODY PARTS
HEAD: The place we associate with logical thinking, as well as creativity. Important to keep in balance the left and right brain so that the logical, empirical and the intuitive, holistic thought processes can work together in creating our lives.
