When people think of Shamballa, they immediately think of a mystical place of true brotherhood where peace reigns and people have reached the ultimate state of enlightenment, a true Utopian society. Some may think of it as the place where the Ascended Masters dwell. Others believe that Shamballa truly exists as a hidden city located in the Gobi Desert, (California) while yet others believe in fictional places for its supposed location. It is believed by many that Shamballa may be found only by those who are truly spiritually prepared to find it.
Shamballa cannot be so simply defined or thought of in those terms. Shamballa is the place within each of us where all truth, love and individual light stems. It is the center of our true self and not particularly what we always show to the world.
We may choose to ignore the loving and peaceful aspects of ourselves and may even hide our "Shamballa" from ourselves. It is not always easy to open our hearts to all and look past what we have deemed to be right or wrong. To judge others by our individual standards and belief systems is inconsistent with the Shamballa philosophy. By incorporating and awakening the "Shamballa" within us, we awaken to that "coming home" feeling where we see the ourselves, others and the world and our connection to all aspects of life around us. With the use of the knowledge and activation of "Shamballa" to guide and direct us, we see the divinity of each of us and within ourselves.
When one acknowledges and activates the Shamballa, a tool is awakened that will aid in growth and development, not only on a spiritual level but all levels of an individual's being. It will provide self-healing, which in turn will help each create healing not only on an individual level but also on a global scale. As we each achieve inner healing, growth and awareness, the effect multiplies and changes outside of our own space. It is an awe-inspiring revelation when one can fully obtain that "coming home" feeling and the truth and knowledge of how we are all fully connected to one another. We might feel so alone and so small in this vast universe, but with the awareness that comes from finding the Shamballa within, we truly see how connected we all are and our importance in the cycle of life.
The road to Shamballa begins with a first step like any other journey. You must look within yourself and find that space that contains your light, where love is centered within you. Once you find your inner Shamballa, use this feeling and knowledge in your dealings with those around you. As you meet others who come across your life path, look at them with the love that is within you. You will realize that as you look upon others with love, it will radiate through you to them. Then you will have a lasting impact on all you meet. Just one act of love changes everyone around you in a positive manner and radiates a feeling of deep warmth within you.
In moments of distress or negativity that comes to each of us throughout life, filter what has happened through your heart and allow the love and light that exists within you to heal those painful moments. Embrace the diversity in each of us as we are all at different levels of development and evolution. Your reactions can lead others to a positive beginning of their own spiritual journey. Shamballa is truly a tool for spiritual awakening. Not only can you use this knowledge to aid everyone on this planet and in our universe, but it can also be used to raise your own individual consciousness, which leaves a lasting impact on all those you know or will encounter in the future.
The road to Shamballa begins within you; it is never ending, constantly developing and evolving lifting you to a higher state of being and consciousness. If we all continue to evolve and come from that place of love within our core, I am sure we will all meet in Shamballa one day soon.
