Unlocking Your Potential

Most people have a belief that they are were they are, because that is where and all they are suppose to be. It is within each of us, to reach for the stars, to raise above what conditions we presently find ourselves in. As with everything action and reaction in life, all goes and flows as it is suppose to on it's own time and within its own time. I really believe that we as human beings need to throw out the concept of time. If you plant a seed, it will not sprout over night, it takes careful nurturing, good foundation, nurtrients and weeks and weeks of constant care. Yes the flower would sprout, it would be enjoyable to the eyes, but would it have reach it ultimate potential without the love and care you gave it, why would man/woman be different?

How do you find your potential?

First and foremost is to take stock of yourself. Look at your gifts and talents that you know you possess everyone has them. Then ask yourself, what do I want to do and what are the steps to achieve my goal. What am I drawn too. Pay attention to your feelings, your dreams and the signs that life does give you. Remembering that your potential may not at this time even be in your view. Things and conditions will present themselves as they are meant to do. Do not judge yourself by what others feel you should be doing or where they feel you should be in your personal and spiritual development. Remembering always, you are where you need to be at any given time.

The key to reaching your potential is to continue to seek, to acquire knowledge, to ask and to grow, it is the journey to finding ones potential that is important. To take baby steps to reach that goal Unlocking your potential is going through a series of choices according to your own insights and needs. It is listening to that inner voice and not succumbing to pressure from those who although they may have your well-being at heart, can not walk this walk for you.

Reaching your potential in many ways, is self acceptance of who you are at this time. It isn't where you think you need to be, but where you are and who you are. It is living each day to it fullest, seizing each opportunity that presents itself without reservations or fear. It is making a choice that with each step you make you are creating the life you want, and on your way to your own greatness.

There are those of you who will at this time be saying, "Ok, I am stagnating here, what can I do?" Even in those feelings of stagnation and those periods of non-growth we are growing. I like to think of those times as contemplation times where you look at where you have been, and evaluate your life's path. You must not take this "stagnate" time as that is what you are suppose to be in, as a time to let go of where you want to be, or should be. Stagnate time is time for reflection, it could be that just around the corner something is about to break for you and you need to be rested and aware when it does. Everyone goes through periods of "fog" "stagnant movement in their lives this is quite normal and should not be looked upon as failure to achieve or a reason to stop working towards unlocking your potential.

Each of us carries within us all the keys needed to unlock our potential, with understanding, self care and confidence each hidden door to reaching our life's potential and goals make themselves available. Remembering always, there is a time and season for each to present itself. Unlocking your potential is merely facing each challenge and change without fear. Simply walk through each door knowing that life always is unfolding as it should.
